Terms of Use

The short version: play fair, only upload photos you are allowed to use, respect other people, and remember that anyone with a TRIQQ link can play it.

1. About TRIQQ

TRIQQ is operated by Effi Tech ApS, Denmark (CVR 46044053). It is a social photo guessing game that lets you create, play and share photo challenges. By using TRIQQ you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Using TRIQQ

You must be at least 13 years old to use TRIQQ. If you are under 18, use it with the agreement of a parent or guardian.

You may use TRIQQ only in line with the law and these Terms. You are responsible for what you upload and create. You must not use TRIQQ to:

• upload illegal content
• upload sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise objectionable content
• harass, bully or threaten others
• violate another person’s privacy, for example by sharing photos of them they would not agree to
• upload content you do not have the right to use
• impersonate another person in a misleading or harmful way
• distribute malware or attempt unauthorised access to TRIQQ systems
• manipulate scores, rewards or game results
• abuse automated systems or the TRIQQ API
• interfere with other people’s ability to use TRIQQ

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Every TRIQQ can be reported from its page. We review reports and remove content and restrict users that break these Terms; a TRIQQ that receives several independent reports is hidden automatically until we have reviewed it.

You can also block another player — from “Report or block” on their TRIQQ, or from the list of people who played yours. You will no longer see each other’s TRIQQs or activity. You can undo it under Profile.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. By uploading content you give Effi Tech ApS a non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transform and display it, only as reasonably necessary to operate, distribute and improve TRIQQ. This includes creating obscured versions of your photo for the game and showing your content to people who open your TRIQQ.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload the content. You can delete a TRIQQ you created at any time, which deletes its photo.

4. Shared challenges

TRIQQs are made to be shared. Anyone who receives or obtains a challenge link can play that TRIQQ, and links can be forwarded. Do not put anything in a TRIQQ that you consider confidential.

5. Guests and profiles

You can use TRIQQ without an account. Your guest history is tied to an anonymous identifier stored in your browser; if you clear your browser data or switch device, that history may no longer be accessible to you. Creating a profile is optional. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and any account credentials secure. You can delete your account and data at any time at triqq.app/delete-account.

6. Scores and results

Scores, rankings and results are part of the fun and have no monetary value. We may correct or remove scores or activity where there is evidence of cheating, manipulation, technical error or abuse.

7. Rewards

Players can attach a friendly reward to a TRIQQ — “solve this by Level 2 and I owe you a coffee”. These are informal promises between players. TRIQQ does not handle money, payments or betting, is not a party to such promises and cannot enforce them.

In the future, businesses may be able to offer rewards through TRIQQ. Additional terms may then apply; availability may be limited; and eligibility, expiry and redemption conditions will be shown with the reward. Unless clearly stated otherwise, Effi Tech ApS is not the provider of third-party goods or services offered as rewards.

8. Intellectual property

TRIQQ, its software, design, name, logos and other platform content are owned by or licensed to Effi Tech ApS. These Terms do not give you ownership of any TRIQQ intellectual property.

9. Availability

We aim to keep TRIQQ available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. TRIQQ is under active development: features may be changed, added or removed.

10. Suspension and removal

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform, investigate abuse, comply with the law or enforce these Terms. We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Effi Tech ApS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of TRIQQ. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as TRIQQ develops. We will change the date at the top and communicate material changes where required.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Danish law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence.
